· Making reports, accounts and technical projects in the sphere of geodesy and cartography in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
· Compilation of catalogues, adjustment and calculation of new accurate data, received as a result of the state geodetic and horizontal and height networks of the RA.
Production potentialities:
· Forming technical projects, reports, compilation and publication catalogues of geodetic network points’ coordinates in the sphere of Geodesy and Cartography in the territory of the RA
· Adjustment on creating normative technical documentation and various instructions based on regulating the activities in the sphere of geodesy and cartography.
Department of Topo - geodetic
Completed works:
· In the territory of the RA in the system of WGS-84 were installed and observed the basic points of 0, 1-st, 2 –nd orders.
· The activities of levelling of the I –st and II –nd orders are carried out concerning of the horizontal and height state networks in the territory of the RA.
· In all the towns of the RA was produced at 1:500 scale survey of overground and underground geodetic constructions.
· Rendering and provision of geodetic data for construction works of Arpa-Sevan tunnel’ set out, as well as the TV-tower, subway and Sports and Concert Complex of Yerevan city.
Production potentialities:
The following necessary instruments and equipments for carrying out topo-geodetic works :

Department of Geodetic Observations and Metrology
Completed works:
· By the help of the observations and studies have been highly appreciated existing state geodetic networks’ accuracy degree
· In the area of the RA has been inculcated a new geodetic network, in the system of WGS – 84, in the result of it we have 5 points of the 0 order, 41 points of the 1-st order, and 761 points of the 2-nd order networks.
· For studying dynamic movements and for the purpose of investigations, studies of deformation of unique constructions vertical and horizontal landslides of the earth’s crust were set up local geodetic network.
- Metrological provision of geodetic tools, equipments/ devices/.
- Observation, calculation and adjustment of the state geodetic networks in different coordinate systems .
Production potentialities:
· It’s being carried out observations with double-frequency GPS receivers, digital levelling modern electronic total - station that permit to mark linear accuracy from 0.5 up to 5 sec. angle and 2-3 mm/1 km distance measurement.
· Providing the newest electronic power stations with digital levels in geodetic works in 0,4 mm accuracy.
· Calculation of transformig 7 parameters, tranformation from geodetic one system to another system
· Rent of electronic geodetic devices, repairing and technical service
· Training of the specialists to work with the above mentioned devices
Department of Topo – Cadastral Cartography
Completed works:
Creation of the RA state series from 1: 500 till 1 : 200 000 scale topographical and creation of the works cadastral digital ( electronic) maps of all communities of the RA , operations with graphic provision Microstation, AutoCad and Arpac softwares.
Production potentialities
Creation of topo – plans from 1: 2 000 till 1 : 5 000 scales, creation of topographical maps from 1:10 000 till 1 : 000 000 scales and from 1 : 500 till
1: 0000 scales digital ( electronic) cadastral maps’creation.
A0 format scanning and printing with coloured plotter.
Department of Photogrammetry
Completed works:
· Scanning of surveyed materials in 4500 sq.km territory of the RA, photo – triangulation condensity, creation of ortho-photo and topographical maps in 1:10 000 scales in digital (electronic) form .
· Scanning of surveyed materials in 220 sq.km. territory of Yerevan, condensity of the base in the way of photo-triangulation survey, creation of ortho –photo plans in 1: 2 000 scale.
· Satellite image according of 1 m. accuracy in 2500 sq.km. territory of the RA, condensity of the basic points in the way of triangulation survey, creation with 1: 10 000 scale of digital ortho – photo and topographical maps.
Production potentialities:
· Department is equipped with the modern computer of Leica company photogrammetric stereo stations, digital technologies and corresponding SOFTWARE .
· Experienced specialists are able to carry out aerial-cosmic surveys, photogrammetrical processing works in time and in a high quality, in the result of which we have today photo – plans, ortho – plans and topographical maps
· Implementation of ( cameral) office interpretation, creation of relief and 3 dimensional model of locality
· The works are carried out as in full complex, creation of topographical and special maps in separate section as well, creation of ortho – plans or horizontals and so on.

Department of Geographical Denominations
Completed works:
- Calculation of geographical denomination and registration of 6 districts in the territory of the RA
- Creation of the State catalogue in the way of automatic process.
Production potentialities:
· According of the represented bids are given information concerning of geographical objects’ denominations.
· An official gazetteer, general thematic dictionaries, other reference books and directories will be published based on the data from the State Field Data.
Department of GIS
· Creation of the basic datas for Geo Information System for the RA
Completed works:
- Three-dimensional data about earth surface in the form of tables, in the way of vector and matrix images
· Creation of 3 and 2 dimensional digital models
· Image of area orthomosaic, with high accuracy
· Creation of digital datas for topographical, cadastral and thematic maps
· Creation of digital models of radio-visibility
PERSPECTIVE
· Creation of thematic Geo information system for the state organs of the government on the principles of Basic GIS
